Eminem Is Taking His Ball

I know everyone has heard of the old saying of “I’m taking my ball and going home” a common phrase used to describe quitters that don’t want anyone else to have fun and rather end a game if their not happy. Well I’m not too sure that is what Eminem is trying to get across in his latest song “Taking My Ball” as the MC goes back to his old ways and gives the sinister lyrics and comical punch lines at celebrities.

The flow in this song is the creepy and weird style that we have grown to love from Shady and the production is classic as well helping to give it more of a punch. The song is rumored to have been cut from the first “Relapse” album and will be on the upcoming game “DJ Hero” as well as an exclusive performance of Jay-Z and Eminem’s classic song “Renegade”. The part in the song that was really interesting to me was the reference to Kim Kardashian that was so extreme that I cannot repeat in this article but definitely listen out for it because I know Reggie Bush will be.

The song is another reason why it’s still a puzzle as to why Shady was left off of MTV’s Hottest MC’s top 10. He has got to be one of the few MC’s that will say whatever he wants in the most lyrically dominating way and must I point out he has beefed with everyone from Moby to Mariah Carey of all people this guy has no fear just talent. The more and more he continues to be overlooked will result in many more songs like this and even angrier albums come to think of it isn’t that what we want from him? Relapse 2 coming soon.

Dr. Robin

Hey remember the guy who came out with that song “Lost Without You” like three years ago making every women fall in love with his every word well he’s back. Robin Thicke returns with a brand new single but same sensual and relaxing flow that women love and men hate.

The song titled “Sex Therapy” is pretty self explanatory from the title as it is supposed to be the antidote to all women’s problems whether it is stress from boyfriends or overall life. The beat was created by the great Polo Da Don who has worked with other R&B standouts like Keri Hilson, Usher and Mario to bring a sexual passion filled melody in which Thicke uses his soulful voice to essentially calm the listener sexually. Ok so if that does not describe the song’s attempted impact he has made this the title for his upcoming album due to be released December 8th.

The song may not be an immediate hit as big as “Lost Without You” but guys do expect this to be yet another song all the girls will be playing. The best advice I would give is to listen to the song and follow some of Robin’s tips before she finds someone else who will and then you are literally Lost.
