T.I. now currently serving his year and a day behind bars took time to shoot a video for his single with Mary J. Blige. The song “remember me” is about not forgetting the imprisoned star and since this song has Mary J. Blige on it i believe that won’t be much of a problem.

Acta Out In Washington

The Washington Nationals announced they have fired manager Manny Acta after 2 1/2 seasons. Acta has managed the Nationals to the worst record in baseball with a 26 – 61 record at the all star break. Acta will be replaced by bench coach Jim Riggleman for the rest of the season.

Pistons Add Two Former Huskies

The Detroit Pistons look to return top the top of the eastern conference with the additions of former Bulls guard Ben Gordon and Bucks forward Charlie Villanueva. The two former University Of Connecticut college stars look to add plenty of scoring to the once mighty Pistons who were swept rather easily by the Cleveland Cavaliers during this past year’s playoffs.

The deals are not officially just an agreement in principal but the two players are expected to sign their contracts soon ecspecially since the contracts according to ESPN.com will have Gordon recieving 5 years $55 million and Villanueva 5 years $35 million.

The signing of Gordon could mark the end of Richard “Rip” Hamilton in Detroit.
